Personality is underdiscussed. Using Myers-Briggs terminology, many social justice activists are NF of some kind. Many in tech are NT.

It took me a while to understand NFs. They start with what they *feel*, while an NT starts with what they *think*.

Consensus these days is that Big 5 is more useful than Myers Briggs right?

My recollection is they roughly map to each other. Big 5 has much more data behind it. Still, Myers-Briggs has been helpful to me as one mental model.

If I remember it accurately — Myers–Briggs more or less corresponds to the Big 5, but is missing the Neuroticism from the Big 5.

Also, the reasons why many researchers prefer models like the Big 5 over something like Myers-Briggs is —

The Big 5 can give tells you how far you are from the population average.

Ex: 5th percentile agreeableness.

Myers-Briggs gives you booleans.
