Prices are down, yeah, but then there's Pudgy Penguins raising $9M, like, what even? Meanwhile, OpenSea's trading volume hits lows, but folks are still minting every day. Is it just a market cool-off, or have we hit the NFT Ice Age? Saw an analyst tweet that the hype cycle is in the "trough of disillusionment," whatever that means. Just saw a thread about gaming NFTs making a comeback—Fortnite skins as NFTs, anyone? But then again, FTX collapse still lingers in the background like a hangover. Maybe it's all just evolving. Or maybe I'm just addicted to the chaos. Can't stop refreshing my feed, hoping for a sign.
