Running

One of the coolest parts of the race is the Berlin Braves, my running crew, cheering point.

Their energy keeps everyone running after the 19th km

And thanks to their training sessions I am also getting out of my running plateau and started to improve

Plus made lots of friends!

yes. It's a paid membership and they will start accepting again after today's race as a "new season starts"

My sister has had a knee injury and is worried she is too slow.

Are there different paces or beginner groups? Or only aimed at competitive runners?

It's for everybody. It's not for competitive runners only. Some are really fast (I think fastest yesterday was 1:17) and some over 2 hours. That's the beauty of it!
