Talked to someone who saw it also (I hated it) and while she didn't like it she said she was happy to have seen it.

Yeah, but it isn't "Sharknado" bad, because you can see potential and intention. For me it was like an accident...I had to stare, always hoping that I was missing something or that somehow it might make it in the end.

I recommend the "Kermode" review for a more articulated representation of my sense of the movie.

I mean at the very least I guess could go in knowing it’s terrible and just laugh at it?
