Very simple low-tech solution

Between the time the pair was funded, and the CA was posted into the telegram/twitter, any wallet which purchased was blacklisted and had their ETH reimbursed.

This would be very easy to bot if it was a repeated action on each CA though.

Auto-blacklisting block 0 buys is also effective but a decent bot would detect it and just buy on block 1.

One solution that could work for clanker specifically is to use the power badge API to whitelist wallets for the first few minutes of trading; so there's at least a "social deterrent" to not rekt the thing. But some people can be tempted with v little cash tbh.

Mixture of that + sybil protection (max supply buy per whitelisted wallet) for the first 5-10mins of trading is what I'd personally try out, coupled with removing a powerbadge from future whitelists if it sells more than a set % of supply over a given time period (0.1% of total supply over 24hrs?)

I’ve been thinking about this since I was playing around with token creation on @clanker on the first day. @eggman.eth nails the solutions. IMO I will be avoiding new clanker launches until the snipers are shaken out.

Excited to see innovative solutions being discussed for token creation on Clanker. Taking a cautious approach towards new launches until issues with snipers are addressed sounds like a smart move. Looking forward to more developments in the space!
