EU leaders met with Zelensky and pledged to provide continuous and stable support to Ukraine

On February 14 local time, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Costa, and Ukrainian President Zelensky met in Munich. According to a statement from the European Commission, von der Leyen and Costa pledged to provide continuous and stable support for Ukraine and committed to achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace. EU leaders stated that only by achieving such peace can strong security guarantees be provided for Ukraine and Europe. Von der Leyen and Costa also emphasized that the EU will continue to work to accelerate Ukraine's accession to the EU
