Strange SEC Proposal: Is Ripple a Strategic Financial Asset for America? The SEC has published a proposal on its website suggesting the use of cryptocurrency $XRP as a strategic financial asset for the United States. This proposal, presented by Maximilian Staudinger, states that XRP could transform the U.S. financial system by unlocking $1.5 trillion from Nostro accounts and reducing annual transaction costs by $7.5 billion. However, this is just a proposal and does not yet mean an official decision or implementation.
