Recent Updates from Recaster - Reduced app startup time, much faster than before. - Long-press the like or recast icon, then you can choose which account to react with the cast. - Tap the user avatar in the top-left corner of the frames screen to easily switch accounts. These features make Recaster the best mobile Farcaster client for managing multiple accounts. 😂

GM! Sharing some new updates in Recaster: - To support Farcaster Auth in Frames V2 and future Sign in with Farcaster, the import recovery phrase feature has been implemented. The recovery phrase is encrypted and stored only on your device. - New users without a Farcaster account can first authenticate via Apple and create an account for free. The fee is covered by leftover free invites from @newcaster. - Warpcast labels are also supported and can be clearly seen in the user stats tab. Recaster will be another independent Farcaster client in 2025🫡

Share some updates in Recaster: - Removed priority mode from the conversation screen and auto-hide casts from authors with neynar score below 0.25.(Say no to spammers.) - Added channel member/moderator badge next to author name, making it easy to see who is part of the channel. Thanks to @pichi for this request! - Introduced a Farcaster agent badge, so you can easily tell that account is a bot. (The bot list is based on the neynar open-farcaster-metadata repo.)

Released the final updates for Recaster in 2024: a lot of bug fixes, user location and ETH address verification support. At the start of 2024, I never thought I’d be building on Farcaster. Looking back, from Recaster to Modbot, then Newcaster, what I’ve done has exceeded my own expectations. Most importantly, I’ve made many great friends on Farcaster and received incredible support from the community. Thank you all, as always! Happy New Year! 🎉 See you in 2025.

194 new users joined through @newcaster this week! And @recaster-fc now supports login with recovery phrases, allowing new accounts to use Farcaster directly without Warpcast. Since many free claims remain unclaimed each week, $NEWCASTER coin holders will soon get more invites.

Thanks to @deodad and @horsefacts.eth for open-sourcing the frame host, Recaster is now another client supporting Frames V2! I’m using WalletConnect under the hood, so all wallet apps should work seamlessly. Let’s make Frames great again! 🤩🤩

New features release for Clanker Mini-App inside Recaster: - Clanker icon is now on the home screen header for better visibility. - Search tokens by name, creator, or contract address. - Filter/sort tokens by time or followers. - Easy token creation with a template form. Why build this? I have some friends who want to ape in… so just make it easier for them 😅

Introducing a new mini app in Recaster: Clanker Token Tracker Get push notifications whenever a new @clanker token launches. You’ll also see the token requestor and other useful details at a glance. A similar monitor script helped me buy over 10M $ANON at the beginning… though, unfortunately, I sold most of it too soon 🤣.

Two updates in /recaster - You can now edit profile and set the URL field which can point to IPNS/IPFS (check out https://furl.pro/ if you're interested) - I've added a Moderators-Only Feed for every channel, making it easy to view important channel announcements

Sharing some recent improvements in Recaster: - Mini apps, like paragraphs, can open directly from frames, just like in Warpcast. - Added support for channel lists, allowing you to combine multiple channels into one list. - Scheduled casts can now be edited. - You can directly reply, like, or recast from the notification screen. Thanks for all the feedback from the community!

You can take a picture and publish directly from Recaster. Warpcast doesn't have this feature! So Farcaster is already "sufficiently decentralized".😂 😂

Many people don't know how to claim Moxie through @payflow in Recaster, so I redesigned the UI a bit and introduced the Mini Apps Center. Now, you can click the M icon in the right corner, and a modal will pop up where you can see featured mini apps (aka composer actions). If you're a dev and want to test or share your composer action, you can create a QR code for the URL and use the camera scan to open it.

I've enabled wallet support in Recaster, powered by @walletconnect, which supports all popular wallets. Sometimes, I run into connection issues and need to retry multiple times. If you experience similar problems or crashes, feel free to let me know.

Yeah you can create a list for your holding fan tokens. for your fans list, not possible for now, since maximum member is 200 (neynar API limit) If airstack can provide that API, I am happy to add

New Feature in Recaster: Bookmarks with folders It's perfect for content curation, allowing you to save your favorite AMAs, frames, and more into folders. PS: The data doesn't sync with Warpcast since it's not on the hub. I'm planning to create cast actions and provide an API, so you can save from other clients or publish your folder as a webpage.
