If you're on Base looking for the next undervalued, high quality, longterm project, you're probably looking for $TRASH. No really. $TRASH is one of the first ERC404s on base, and really makes good use of the capabilities of this unique semi-fungible token standard. 🧵 👇

$TRASH has 5 levels of rarity that you can roll into. Re-rolling is baked into ERC404s. Anytime you split a single token by sending a portion of it to another address and then recombine to have over one token in the new address, the contract generates a new NFT for that token.

This means you can trade full tokens and keep the NFT attached to them, just like any other NFT in Opensea. https://opensea.io/collection/dumpster-divers Or you can buy a fraction off Uniswap. https://app.uniswap.org/explore/tokens/base/0xdf00fde26a6819507649904ca52fe5062ef75ba7

But what really takes this project to next level is Waste Management, the community DAO which uses the token for governance. $TRASH launched through a semi-bonding curve of liquidity pools. And from the start, Waste Management has governed and received revenue from these pools.

Now you may be wondering how the different levels of rarity factor in. Introducing... The Dumpster. (dumpster.trashnfts.com) You can stash your $TRASH at the Dumpster in order to mint a Dumpster Diver PFP. The more rare your $TRASH, the higher percentage chance to mint a more rare Diver.

Each PFP is assembled from a selection of hand drawn traits. Now that's what I'd call some rare garbage.

But we're not even done yet! If you want to get back your $TRASH, you can toss a diver back into the Dumpster and get back out the original $TRASH that was stashed for it for a 'wee fee' that goes back to the DAO. This allows the supply of $TRASH to remain fluid and opens the door for future trade systems.

As you can see, this project takes a playful approach to exploring some truly novel onchain capabilities. Along the way it is building a not insignificantly sized treasury and btw, the core team is stacked. @artichokelord - Artist @willywonka.eth - Community Lead @512mace - Marketing @jacobhomanics.eth - Dev @realitycrafter - Dev
