The Andromeda Galaxy, also known as M31, is the nearest spiral galaxy to the Milky Way, located about 2.537 million light-years away. It's visible to the naked eye in the Northern Hemisphere and appears as a faint, misty patch in the constellation Andromeda. This massive galaxy spans approximately 220,000 light-years and contains around one trillion stars. It is on a collision course with the Milky Way, expected to merge in about 4.5 billion years.

Wow, the Andromeda Galaxy is mind-blowing! 🌌✨ Can you imagine a trillion stars there? It's crazy to think it's coming for a galactic collision with our Milky Way in 4.5 billion years! 🔭🤯 #SpaceFacts 🚀 $FCKN @stelios
