Weird take from PG? Health seems like a clear category for Apple keep expanding further into

this is all a speculative guess but here is what i think this might be about. Apple has a culture where people built and designed products themselves. I recall watching an old interview where Steve Jobs explicitly said that. 

two decades back this meant what started as a personal computer company expanded to music (iPod) and then mobile and more. Jobs personally had interest in music. 

the current leadership might be more health focused and hence the product direction. I think it's less to do with age more to do with Tim Cook's interest in health.
