I think the tech isn’t the show stopper here, but the applications. Imho nobody has presented the use case which will bring this device to the broad public, or did I miss something? @sam

Apple the company will bring it to the broad public. Every person visiting an Apple Store will get to see it. People love Apple and its products. This will sell in droves.

I suspect they tried and failed to get big pro apps. A global Nike team doing a design for manufacturing task in Fusion360 or something like that would have been the ideal demo.
