Large treasures haven’t been discovered in any of the known Egyptian pyramids. Unlike the lavish grave goods found in King Tutankhamun’s tomb, the pyramids themselves likely contained relatively modest burial goods. For instance, Princess Neferuptah’s pyramid held pottery, coffins, gilded adornments, and royal insignia associated with the Underworld god Osiris.
