I just read the King novella and was amazed how closely the movie followed it. Main difference being that the book keeps going after they return to Castle Rock, and describes how Ace and his gang make good on their threat and kick the shit out of all 4 kids.

And BTW this was the first Rated R movie I ever saw. My parents took me to see it in the theater when I was in 2nd grade. I still give them shit for it đ¤Ł
