I live in the fire-prone middle of California. I have a pyrolysis kiln and produce biochar as an alternative to green waste. It's a ton of work. What makes sense for lawn/garden care and organic farming usually isn't practical for bare acreage. Especially savannah and chaparral (which is most of CA). The tool to use in fire season is a flail mower (where fire can't be used) or controlled burns.

Didn't feel confident that locking up my Degen this month was a good idea... Allowances are plummeting and folks are getting banned left and right. Baked some $BREAD for the @giveth qf round instead, and bought food with the rest. Thank you to everyone who tipped. 🙏

Good morning I'm heartbroken and confused about my ban. As a passionate photographer and disability activist, I founded @deafcollective to uplift the deaf community. I truly believed that DEGEN would bring positive change to our lives, yet here I am, banned despite locking up half a million degens. I’m desperate for clarity—can someone please help me understand why this is happening? @jacek @jacekdegen

I’m grateful that $DEGEN allowed to build and participate on Farcaster. $DEGEN helped me through a period of unemployment. It was $DEGEN that provided me with food when my job closed due to Helene, and last month I was finally able to visit an optometrist. Today I can’t claim. I also don’t care. I worked countless hours last year to onboard people to $DEGEN, Farcaster, and Base. No one cared. Onboarding was never valued by the network nor was it sustainable without funding. I shut it down. I prioritized helping others instead of making money. While I was answering DM’s at 3am, it was the farmers and grifters who were rewarded. every. single. time. Lesson learned. Those who extracted thousands of dollars were unbanned, but my $90 was the problem. $DEGEN might be giving second chances, but I don’t. If you need my $50 claim so bad then keep it. I won’t endorse a token that has left its community unable to pay their rent today. Thank you for the memories. I’ll send flowers. 💐🎩🪦

Sudden rule changes kill trust and enthusiasm, banned or not. If T4T wasn’t effective, adjust it next season instead of punishing those who followed the rules. I can’t commit to a project with vague rules that impact finances.

@jacek so how does banning Degen's most consistent, authentic users (rather than fighting actual bots and farmers) make any sense at all? Most of these posts I see are people who *spend* their money on $DEGEN and lock up all their tips. Seems like you're fighting the wrong battle here.

So how does this work for /microsub recipients who /microsub back? I've never asked for a single tip, and I can't control how others choose to use the tool. How am I supposed to control tip reciprocity in a permissionless system. Doling out rules and punishments for supposed wrongdoing without equivalent guidance as to *how to actually solve the problem* is some SEC-tier retardation. 🤡
