Web3 makes a lot of us poor. It is what it is. Those of us who perform mission-critical, "non-technical" work for projects and protocols (without which, none of this tech would be adopted and deployed) sacrifice a lot to make sure our orgs can afford the technical experts needed to execute on shared goals. On days like today, our families sure feel the crunch, too. Devs are a labor aristocracy, and the good ones recognize this and help to make a space where *all* valuable contributors can sustain themselves. They're the good ones. ...but let's not forget that the material interests of the developer stratum can have a conservatizing effect on them, producing elitist "builder"-centric attitudes that overlook the needs of non-technical workers. Without constant cage-rattling, they might start to think that they're right. Even when e-bullies throw all their social capital against you, don't give up. Keep fighting until we poors receive the dignity we're due as workers and humans. Non-code work is work.
