Kimchi or pickled lettuce is actually spicy and sour types of fermented vegetables and is prepared using different ingredients, the most important of which is lettuce. The reason for the interest in kimchi is its special flavor, high fiber content, and few Korean foods. Kimchi is culturally valuable to Koreans and the meal is incomplete without it. Of course, unlike the Koreans, the Chinese also use kimchi.
