This week, as part of the Based Africa Buildathon, my team and I have been hard at work over the past two weeks building "Postera", a waste management platform on the @base network. The mission of Postera is to tackle the waste problem that plagues African countries and the world, starting from Lagos. Our platform encourages people to be eco-friendly and properly dispose of their waste. In return, they earn rewards for these actions, and we bring their efforts on-chain. Have you heard? cbBTC on Base Network !! cbBTC which is "Coinbase Wrapped Bitcoin" Is a version of Bitcoin that works on the @base Network. This makes it easier for Bitcoin holders to use DeFi applications. Bitcoin holders can convert their BTC to cbBTC and use it on @base to interact with DeFi applications, things like lending, borrowing, or providing liquidity can now be done swiftly without having to spend a fortune or waiting for tnx approval so long , isn't that cool?😀 Even better!
