thanks to cheap fees + storage mispricing, a tiny number of users have monopolized the majority of network resources

I don't particularly like the concept of rent for chain storage but the IMO only way to combat this kind of thing is to move on from one-time deployment costs. But is expiry then permanent? I don't think that's tenable either
