it's definitely slower/less explosive than breaking bad and that doesn't change, but it's WAY more polished in every other way.

yes, it's terrible. Many people complaining. Many potential solutions that might or might not work for you. What worked for me: I enabled Turbopack and it got a little better. Then weeks later I removed react-icons from my project and it got a lot better (still slower than it should be). See: https://github.com/vercel/next.js/discussions/58889

Honestly, 5/5 to everything so far, but I haven't used it to do anything complex just yet. We'll see. One thing: the codebase feature is better than I thought it would be, but again, I haven't asked for anything crazy. Here's a little demo:

brother, if I may: 1) it imports all of your vs code extensions. 2) when I first installed it automatically opened the project I was working on vs code. 3) It's literally a vs code clone in terms of UI. 4) It didn't import my User Snippets but it took 30 seconds to copy and paste from vs code. 5) For some reason auto-imports are not working for me. I was dreading making the change because I thought it would lower my productivity until I got used to it, but it was all truly seamless.
