My understanding is that in some proving systems, like in Binius, calculating keccack etc is super cheap. Not sure what all the tradeoffs there are, but it's going to be a super fun journey to zk enshrinement. https://warpcast.com/figitaki/0x3178dc71

I feel like when the time comes to enshrine a proving system, we can care less about charging per opcode, and just charge per zk cycle, since it's all deterministic at that point. We definitely need to introduce precompiles and solidity functions for friendlier hashes before starting to nudge people away from keccack.
