I checked out the Lens V3 docs last night. It feels like Lens is shifting from a social-first approach to a blockchain-first one. it's an EVM-compatible blockchain with powerful social features for developers. (AAVE chain π) With the SDK, you can easily build a social network client, even tailored to your audience with a custom graph. But tech isnβt the core for social networks, itβs content and real people. Any social app still faces the challenge of user acquisition and retention to build network effects. Lens V3 didn't answer for this, it's all left up to developers. https://dev-preview.lens.xyz/docs

what's your real take? what would you prefer, given you've been building a client for a while?

I love Farcaster since the core team is trying different ways to solve the core social problems. However, many people don't like current sufficient decentralization protocols, they can go with lens.
