In all seriousness, people can drink what they like, however they like. There's a theory going around that whisky (and whiskey) being chilled or diluted with ice kills the "notes". IMO, try a good scotch all three major ways: neat, on the rocks and with 2-3 drops of lukewarm water. Three different drinks. But use a snifter. I like Glencairn.
