tbf, it's not polymarket tilting the field. it's a user or a couple of them. that being said, poly is /clearly/ leaning into the politics of controversy for traffic and exposure and that's not something i support. there are other prediction markets.

I mean, I can get it's just business for them. Any controversy is good for the betting lines. But they are influencing a whole lot more with this. This kind of "lead" dissuades" people from voting. This needs to be... what's the word... "regulated"

trump supporters are using it to signal who they want to win. it's advertising. that's only as dangerous as polymarket has influence, which isn't much.

people don't find trump appealing. advertising an impending trump win could very well do the /opposite/ thing. notice how we're talking about it, but not in a pro-mango way. that's common.
