There are two main changes with allowances in Season 3: 
1. Allowances are now ~0.357x from last month for the same behavior. 

This isn’t surprising since Season 2’s allowance was itself already 0.7x the rewards from Season 1. 

This is good since it makes tipping consistent with “mining” curves.

For folks new to /degen, I did this thread a few days ago, ask me all your questions about how tip allowances work

I'm not here solely for the allowance, but it would be nice to know what I'm doing wrong and my allowance is really low. I had 500, now I have 163. I discuss, try to help people, like, recast, tip, follow, mint, etc and still, allowance stays the same. Any recommendations?

People had their allocation sliced by two thirds. Also, tip stats are somewhat glitched due to insane growth. Could be that people don't want to overtip if their stats show 0.

I have 0 ins new season and can’t understand why 🤔😨
