And another thing - don't call it an airdrop if it is not an actual airdrop. It is not an actual drop if it is "only a few simple steps to claim the airdrop". If you're a crypto team/project, I assume you know how to check the blockchain and make a script for the drop (plus a few additional steps for excluding bots). No, I don't feel entitled or deserving of every single drop. And I won't complain about all that. Yes, I know it's not 2021 anymore. If you said you're dedicating a part of the allocation to "community and people testing the network", then do a drop. But if I have to go through a a crypto obstacle course (two bot tests, give my e-mail and home address, two paid utility bills with that same address, add a few ETH addresses with proven history, and pledge my unborn child to your "project"), you're not doing an "airdrop". You're doing a claim, and you're making me hate your project before it's out. And no, I won't claim that or participate in your project further.

been seeing this so much lately and probably my biggest crypto-related gripe. most folks default to airdrop when they really mean claim. kinda think it's intentional since claims are notoriously cumbersome
