Account Verifications (Beta) 

- Verify your X, phone and onchain addresses to improve reputation.  
- Accounts with better reputation are more likely to earn rewards. 
- Scoring is still in beta and will change as we roll this out. 

Go to Settings > Verifications on mobile.

Verifications are opt-in, but through proof-of-work offer a non-biometric proxy version of proof-of-humanity. 

The more verifications (with publicly visible activity / history / reputation), the more likely you are to be human.

Useful for developers building on the protocol, projects targeting airdrops and even for understanding that your engagement is not coming from "bots".

Phone number? Nah, that's too much. Especially considering that they could, in the future, be a part of the protocol and public. We have enough security concerns (in crypto) as it is.

V: "Phone numbers are private for now". that full sentence does not sound that re-assuring that tomorrow, or in a week, or in a year they are not private. 

I mean, whatever floats anyone's boat. If people want to verify, they can. I just see too much of a risk for me, personally.
