are there any popular apps where people go to report things in their local communities that can be improved? looking for a large public repository of trails that are overgrown with weeds, basketball nets that can be replaced, potholes that need to be filled, etc.

looking forward to see it! happy to discuss more/give feedback anytime if needed. i've been researching adjacent aspects for a while and also worked on somewhat of a theoretical abstraction of this application :)

sweet! would def love to get your opinion on what we're doing at poidh it's basically exactly what that Twitter person was asking for, an app to escrow funds for tasks to be completed then release them once the task creator thinks they're sufficiently well done (with photo proof, of course)

i've been quite offline so getting back late i've been following poidh for a while and loved the one where someone fixed a basketball net couple months ago :) will share more feedback once i go through the article! have you written about your goals/vision with poidh anywhere? would be curious to learn!

oh wow the basketball net is deep lore, appreciate you following! the closest to a "goals" doc is going to be this blog, but it's a bit outdated: https://paragraph.xyz/@poidh/about-pics-or-it-didnt-happen will work on getting a revised one out once our latest tech upgrades are finished
