i think you guys are gonna like this update as much as i do :)

default DC retention has been moved to 1 year instead of 30 days!!

doesn't apply to existing messages (so go change those!), but all new conversations moving forward will have 1 year of message retention by default.

I hate disappearing messages, hence why I don’t use Snapchat. One year is a welcomed development.
