Saw this “fact checked” tag on the Forbes website. It’s adds visual credibility but I have no idea who this person is. Imagine someone or a team fact-checking articles/news etc and wrapping/minting the item with their fact check stamp, cryptographically signing that item as true, false, etc. Think web3 snopes

If any eth address can tag something as truthful, doubtful etc and sign that artifact w their key, binding their attestation to that belief in its truth/falsehood, etc. this primitive could cryptographically build a meta trust layer on top of existing media/web/any content.

I heard I think @dwr.eth talking once about a benefit of farcaster is people we trust (say @vitalik.eth) and we can verify it’s their owned account, talking about something THEY trust or distrust can give a social signal. Now bake that action on chain.
