Had an uncle tell me to my face last week that the fires in Hawaii were caused by direct energy weaponry by some adversary of the US. What? I was like “oh. You mean when the power lines sparked next to trees that shouldn’t have been that close to them?” Instantly replied: “that’s what the media told you to believe” as unironically as you can possibly imagine. Mans lives in Missouri. Town of what 500 people? Hasn’t been to Hawaii in 50 years. But HIS knowledge is definitely grassroots truth and not “from the media” 🤦
