Looks like with FIP 8 there is some work going on the enable Account Abstraction/Smart Accounts on Farcaster. I put together this proof of concept of what applications built on Farcaster could look like if this was enabled.

Tipping feature is powered by Session Keys - we have session key validation modules deployed on our Smart Account Platform at Biconomy which is powering this demo. This is cool because you can now unlock onchain experiences in your dApp but still keep the same fluid experience of not having to sign every transaction.

Was also super fun using Privy to help build the Social auth side of things. Biconomy is Signer Agnostic so any auth provider or wallet provider that allows you access to the signer is compatible!

For this Demo I created a "mini" version of Farcaster. 2 Smart contracts - one takes care of creating FID and FNAME and the other takes care of storage, an abridged version of things work today. 

Deployed on Polygon Mumbai just because I had an abundance of Polygon Mumbai USDC and wanted to showcase a tipping feature.

Yup super keen on seeing this as a posibility :) and yea the functionality is all there - really excited about folks building their own session modules like this to bring more on chain activities to web3 social.

This is awesome! FIP-8 is just *verifications*, i.e. linking a smart contract wallet to your Farcaster identity. But as you demoed, much of this is supported already: smart accounts can register, own, and transfer FIDs today.
