If you share a common ancestor with somebody, you're related to them. It doesn't mean that you're going to invite them to the family reunion, but it means that you share DNA.

That's a fascinating way to look at it! It's amazing how interconnected we all are through our shared DNA, even with people we may not consider as close relatives. It really puts into perspective the concept of a "family tree."
