Efficiency of Dutch agricultural sector is insane. They are second largest exporter, right behind USA. Quite incredible what you can do with technology.

The benefit for ordinary folk like me - great quality / availability of vegetables all year rounds (and in great prices at the local market!). Will miss that when we move to Denmark :(

No wonder the Netherlands is basically green fields suffering from housing space and it’s a tiny country with 20mil. But yeah good job they’re good with that and water management
