When people tell me they don't like Elon Musk (or any other famous person), I usually respond with: - Oh wow, how did you guys meet? - Oh no, what did he do to you? - Is he really that bad as they say in the press? A bit smirky but open-hearted. After all, what's the point of giving praise or hate to a person you never met behind their back?

This sounds like bait but I’ll bite. Elon is objectively a shit person. His ex-wives hate him, his children hate him, advertisers hate him, ex-business partners hate him, and so on. He deadnames his own child, takes ownership of other people’s work, tells potential customers (advertisers) to go fuck themselves.

Not a bait. Drama stresses me out. Just sharing my opinion after encountering couple of people who were hard on him without much forethought Many people love him, too. Some commit their full life to work for him and if not for him then for his ideas Point is, for such a high-impact person there's going to be much love/hate. Anything said about this person by someone who don't know them directly is just an aggregate of myriad of conflicting signals found in social media, press, and random conversations.
