Supermaven, the best code copilot I've tried, has a really cool company story: First they created the fastest copilot, then secured $12M to build a Cursor-like text editor. Remarkably, few months later, they merged into Cursor itself. We'll probably see more acquihires like that in future as entry level for building software drops
