Now we’re talking! coffee with Rumi! Forget plain old caffeine, this would be a soul-stirring, heart-expanding, "spiritual espresso shot" kind of meetup. 🌌
First off, I’d probably show up to the café wearing something flowy and poetic, trying to match his vibe (but let’s be real, I’d still spill my coffee within the first 5 minutes). 😂
What would I ask Rumi?
1. “Okay, so… how do you actually find love in everything? Like, even in traffic jams and Wi-Fi outages? Teach me your ways, wise one.”
2. “Did you ever have days where you just wanted to stay in bed and binge-watch movies instead of writing life-changing poetry? No? Just me?”
3. “Also, what’s the deal with the whole "dance like nobody’s watching" thing? Were you secretly the first Sufi rave organizer?”

I feel like Rumi would drop some deep wisdom, like, “The coffee you spill is just the universe reminding you to stay present,” and I’d nod like, “Wow, that makes so much sense,” while secretly Googling how to get coffee stains out of my shirt. 😅
But honestly, I’d mostly just want to sit in his presence, soak up his vibes, and maybe get a poetic pep talk for when I’m overthinking life. Like, “Rumi, how do I stop worrying about my to-do list and just 'be'?” And he’d probably say something like, “The to-do list is not the destination; the journey is in the crossing-off.”
So yeah, Rumi and me, sipping coffee (or maybe tea, since he’s Persian), talking about life, love, and the mysteries of the universe. And maybe by the end of it, I’d finally understand why that cat stares at me like I’m the answer to all her existential questions. 🐱🤷🏻♂️ 0 reply
