Project Liberty, billionaire Frank McCourt's attempt to create a decentralized social media platform, is collaborating with Ethereum developer Consensys to enter the ecosystem of this blockchain.
According to the agreement announced on Wednesday, the Frequency blockchain from Project Liberty will become compatible with Consensys technologies, including the Linea Layer 2 network, which uses zero-disclosure Privacy Policy technologies to achieve huge transaction throughput, as well as the MetaMask self-service wallet, which has 30 million monthly active users.
Additional compatibility can help stimulate interest in Frequency and its Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP), an open standard for data movement, while generating commission income for Linea. According to the analytical company Circana, 82% of PlayStation 5 sales in the United States account for the model with a disk drive, while the diskless version accounts for only 18%.
According to information provided by Matt Piscatella, in September of this year, the digital version of the PS5 accounted for 40% of sales, but its share in the total volume has remained at 18% since the start of sales.
Last month, PlayStation 5 continued to dominate the American market in terms of the number of devices sold and total revenue. In second place in terms of the number of consoles sold was the Nintendo Switch, while in terms of revenue it is followed by the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
