I think it would be interesting to build a college basketball ranking system similar to Ken pom but based on prediction markets instead of an algorithm. Yes, the market could be a collection of yes/no predictions for each team for each round of the tournament. Manipulation would be possible but this could only be temporary and it would be possible for anyone to bet the other side to take advantage of manipulation.
