I got to interview two extraordinary artists tonight.

Swoon, whose work I’ve admired and collected for years, and Monica Canilao, a new discovery for me, whose presence and depth absolutely radiate.

Packed house. Over 300 people. Cameras everywhere. But somehow, it felt like just the three of us, completely present, completely in flow. I felt like I was floating the entire time.
