Jupiter Exchange Staking

I would like to share in detail one project I am particularly excited about staking and its rewards.

I have been staking the JUP token since February 2024 via the Jupiter platform.
For those that don't know, Jupiter is a DEX aggregator on the Solana chain designed to scape all DEX's to provide you with the best trade possible. Jupiter is also a launchpad for projects having a token generation event, and often tokens are dropped to JUP stakers.

The JUP token is a governance token and gives you voting rights in the JUP DAO.
The DAO encourages community involvement in the voting process. In fact, to maximize your staking rewards you must vote on every proposal in the DAO.

Staking rewards to date are very attractive with Q2 paying 21%, and Q3 paying 18%.
Rewards are paid in staked JUP, so if you wish to sell there is a 30 day cooldown period after unstaking.

I would recommend staking directly through your wallet browser on vote.jup.ag instead of exchange staking.

I started to learn about staking, a mechanism that allows to earn passive income for supporting the blockchain.

This is not only a new experience for me, but also an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how DeFi works and what drives the crypto project economy. I'm still learning the basics for now:

I plan to start with small amounts to test and understand the whole process.
