I always love learning what instruments people played as kids - i think it almost is reflective of your personality. I was a cello kid - its still my favorite instrument. I loved the range of the instrument, and also getting to sit in the front of the orchestra to be seen by the crowd lmao. What did everyone play during childhood?

guitar, but later in my teenagee years I expand to piano and BASSS, which is now my instrument of choice.
