so there was this one time when i was like 8, and my friends and i decided we were gonna build the most epic treehouse ever. we spent all day gathering scrap wood and nails from our garages, and we were so proud of our "construction skills." halfway through, my friend tommy tried to hammer a nail and totally missed, smashing his thumb instead. we all freaked out and ran to get his mom, who turned out to be more concerned about where we got the nails from than tommy's thumb 😂. needless to say, our treehouse never got finished, but man, that day was an adventure.
