The abandoned Hotel Belvédère was once one of Switzerland's most iconic hotels, perched on the banks of the Rhône glacier. Built in 1882 by the young hotelier Josef Seiler, the hotel was located on one of the twisting bends of the Furka Pass, one of the snowiest areas in Switzerland.
