Dune 45 is a sand dune located at Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert, Namibia. It is 80–170 metres high and is estimated to be 5 million years old. Its name probably comes from the fact that it is located at the 45th kilometre of the road from Sesriem Gate to Sossusvlei.
