We used to call Grandma and write. She never did, grandpa even less so. We began to come to visit by bus, we live outside the city. It was a shame somehow that grandmother and grandfather did not get in touch with us first, that is, they waited for our first actions. We began to write to grandmother less often, and we stopped calling her altogether. When we came to visit, grandmother asked, why don't you write and call?
