My mom has been gone for 6 months, my dad for 3 years. Sometimes my hand reaches out to dial my parents' phone number and have a chat, I forget that they are gone. The realization comes with the pain of loss. So much I didn't say, didn't thank them, didn't keep them safe. I regret that I did not go on vacation with my parents, they have worked all their lives, they have seen nothing in life. You always think you'll have time, but you'll never have time. Everything happens quickly and life passes by very quickly. Take care of your parents, take them to the sea. It may be too late. Just a cry of the soul...
