Checked out Fiids and Herocast based on @yb's newsletter. 

Fiids - Couldn't login. Would scan QR code, Warpcast would say successful, but Fiids never updated. 

Herocast - Like the design, but it doesn't unfurl quoted casts - losing context between the OC and quote + other UX issues. 

Still: Progress! Onward!

Sounds like an opportunity for a UX improvement on the https://beta.fiids.xyz/ page then, right? Copy or a failed auth message. 

With people linking directly into the interface, one shouldn't assume they've seen any other guidance. Also, many sites, have normalized the pattern of QR code = scan to auth or info.
