A movie trope I think flies under the radar since it’s also usually tied to an exposition dump: “Obscure, but Vital Information That’s in an Easily-found Record” 🦸 Hero(s) need some key info 📚 Know JUST the expert 🕵️ …Who knows EXACTLY the book/map/scroll/record to grab from of the bajillion options located around them 📜 …And opens it almost precisely where the information is 🎯 Optional sub-trope: Info also happens to be on a shelf right near them and/or plucked out almost immediately
