this may be a stupid question but i haven't found a straight answer in the docs. say i have an app and enable users to create smart wallets. i onboard 100 people with 100 smart wallets. in the future, could those users export their smart wallet to another interface?

They could still use others apps with their wallet/passkeys without having to export, as the smart wallet login is via our sdk and assets not local to the app. We will also be providing a recovery key export ability soon

and just for the sake of clarity, if i imported the sw recovery key to a new interface, would it now work as a regular EOA wallet?

The interface provider would also need to support smart contract wallets and import, it wouldn’t be a regular EOA as the wallet is a smart contract itself.
